Position Title:
Social Media Intern
Job Responsibilities:
As a Social Media Intern at Sense Conflux, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting the organization's digital presence and outreach efforts.

Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the creation and scheduling of engaging social media posts across platforms to promote our mission, events, and artists.
Monitoring social media channels for trends, news, and relevant content to share with our audience.
Collaborating with the team to develop and implement social media campaigns.
Engaging with our online community, responding to comments, and fostering a positive and interactive online environment.
Providing support in the creation of visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom).

Learning Objectives:
Throughout the internship, the Social Media Intern will have the opportunity to:
Develop and refine social media management skills.
Gain insights into effective digital marketing strategies for nonprofit organizations.
Understand the role of social media in promoting arts and cultural initiatives.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
Strong passion for the arts and a keen interest in social media.
Basic understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Good communication skills and the ability to convey our organization's mission effectively.
Basic graphic design skills; familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Please note: as an intern, we are committed to providing training and mentorship in exchange for your time. If you are enthusiastic and ready to learn, we can teach you all the necessary skills to succeed in this role. 

Time Commitment:
This is an unpaid internship with a flexible time commitment of 4-8 hours per week, ideally for a duration of 3-4 months.

Flexible schedule remote work.

Supervision and Mentorship:
The Social Media Intern will work closely with Sense Conflux team, receiving guidance and mentorship throughout the internship.

Project-Based Work:
Interns will be involved in specific projects, including:
Executing social media campaigns for upcoming events.
Developing a content calendar for social media posts.

Our mission is to foster experimentation, provide a supportive and inclusive environment where artists connect, collaborate, and explore the intersections of art, ecology, and technology.

Job Description:
Sense Conflux is seeking a committed individual to join its Board of Directors. As a volunteer board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the organization toward achieving its mission and goals. We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting diverse artists and promoting sustainable and experimental art practices.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the organization is effectively working towards its mission and long-term objectives.

Advocacy and Representation: Act as an ambassador for Sense Conflux, advocating for its mission and values within the community and relevant networks.

Committee Participation: Engage actively in board meetings, committees, and discussions, contributing insights and expertise to shape organizational policies and initiatives.

Resource Development: Assist in fundraising efforts by leveraging personal and professional networks, identifying potential donors, and participating in fundraising events.

Governance: Ensure the organization operates within legal and ethical guidelines, and participate in the selection and evaluation of executive leadership.

Community Engagement: Foster connections and collaborations within the arts community, promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and innovation.

Qualifications:
Passion for the arts and a strong commitment to supporting diverse interdisciplinary artists.
Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a nonprofit or arts-related context.
Understanding of sustainable and experimental art practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to commit time for board meetings, committee work, and other organizational activities.

Time Commitment:
Board members are expected to commit to a minimum of 4-8 hours per month, including attendance at monthly board meetings, committee meetings, and participation in special events.

Term:
Board members serve a term of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.
